You are invited to become a part of the 1000 Monthly Family Prayer Team.
- If you desire to start your own monthly family prayer group, you begin with the selection of a leader or facilitator.
- Once selected by the family, the facilitator has a few main tasks.
- The facilitator will communicate encourage and remind family members of the agreed upon date and time for prayer and lead the prayer session via Zoom, conference call, or in-person if feasible.
- Families are encouraged to be flexible regarding time, date, duration, and frequency to ensure the involvement of as many family members as possible.
- Support for establishing a family prayer group may be found by sending an email to support@ycct.org or talking with informed willing pastors and Christian leaders in your area.
- Worthwhile work takes time. It can be painstaking yet rewarding to ask family and acquaintances to participate in what for some will be a new or resurrected family tradition.
We have scores of families, as well as churches, who have committed to monthly family prayer time. There is still a lot of work to be done to reach our goal of having hundreds of families involved in praying together and impacting 1,000 or more individuals.
